VERSUS and Avery Dennison join forces to drop new kits for South London Laces. These kits represent who they are. They were designed by the team (including myself), for the team and represent what’s important to them. No matter your age, ethnic background, social or economic status, South London Laces houses a beautiful melting pot of diversity.

 

This was represented in the swirled melting pot pattern consisting of colours synonymous with the Caribbean. The colours and typeface are an ode to the Windrush generation; who arrived at a particular time in UK history and redefined the face of Britain, especially South London, as they transformed British art, food and culture.
